Pests in Gardens and Landscapes

Harvesting

Cole crops should be harvested as soon as they reach maturity. Leaving them in the garden too long may result in bolting or split heads such as in cabbage. It could also result in the opening of the flower buds of broccoli and cauliflower, reducing the edibility of the plant.
