DESCRIPTION:
Pineapple-weed is a very common summer annual weed. Mature pineapple-weed
is 3 to 12 inches (7.5 - 30 cm) high. The small, yellowish green flowers
at the ends of stems do not have showy petals. The foliage of pineapple-weed
is
finely divided
and gives off a strong, sweet smell when crushed. Seedlings have bright
green, narrow seed leaves that are thick and fleshy. Early leaves are finely
divided
into narrow, fingerlike lobes.
