Rabbitfoot polypogon

Scientific name: Polypogon monspeliensis (Grass Family: Poaceae)

DESCRIPTION:
Rabbitfoot polypogon, also known as rabbitfootgrass, is a winter annual grass that has slender, hairlike seedling leaves. It has papery ligules and soft foliage. No auricles present. Mature plant is 6 inches to 2 feet (15 - 60 cm) tall. Narrow leaves are sharply bent. The flower cluster is soft and spikelike.
